Historical Victorian Presentations

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED?

How did etiquette dictate a lady's life
in the 19th century or
what did her wardrobe consist of?

OR

Do you want to learn more about the
History of Tea or Bridal Customs?

If you are interested in learning, let me help you.  I will arrive dressed in period clothing and teach your group about the topic you decide upon.  Whether it be a clothing presentation of the 1800's at your next event, Bridal customs for the bridal shower or the History of Tea at your next Tea Party, the choices are endless and catered especially for you.

I have been the speaker/presenter at several events.  Nursing homes are a great place to present historical clothing as the residents seem to "step back in time" as they recall their Mother wearing a similar dress or Aunt carring a redicule like the one I am carrying.  How sweet to see the smiles and memories grace their faces!

I presented clothing from the 1860's Civil War Era to the Edwardian Era of 1910 for a Quilting Guild in Arizona.  What fun they had as they tried on the various hats I brought and saw the fabulous reproduction and original clothing.

It is always a joy to see the wonder on the faces of Brides-to-be as they learn how different Bridal customs were a hundred and twenty five years ago compared to what they are today.

There is no better place to learn about Tea History than at your next Tea Party event.  The ambiance of a tea room, whether out or in your own home, is the perfect place to increase your tea knowledge while partaking of the age old tradition of Afternoon Tea.

Whatever your preference or whatever your next event is, contact me at cabbagerosetea@gmail.com and allow me to help you to create it to be as exciting as possible. You may view the wonderful clothing that I offer to present on my 'Stepping Back in Time' page.

I look forward to hearing from you!
